Maltepe Park

Maltepe park is located in Demertepe Ankara, it is a very nice shopping center. It provides its visiters with a very comfortable shopping experience. But, Matepe Park is a bıg fail, although its some how near to the city center of Ankara, people do not really know that there is a near shopping center to Kizilay, and I also put a big doubt that this shopping center is not famous at all. Most of the resturents at it have closed because of the less popularity of it, and also most shops and markets. Even its hiper market ''Carefour'' is not popular because of the shopping center. All of this is because of the shopping center's location, and it is far away from people.

The Building in Kızılay

Since I have arrived to Ankara, this bulding satyed as it is till now. No function and not yet completed. I have asked when it was built or to be more accurate when it was started to be built?, the answer was 1980!!
This buliding is in the most importent places in Ankara, its in Kizilay,, no one has arrived to Ankara and not seen this bulilding!!
Why letting the people questioning why and what is this?
and then do not give an answer by saying this building is jsut nothing!
Remove, Remove this is what sholud happen to this building, in its place a lot of useful amazing attractive staff can be built.
Well, still Ican not ignore its arhitectural value, as it has a certain shape that attracts everyone's eye, but if it does not have a function. İf a function was found for this building then maybe we can see if such a function is appropriate for such a building!

Gökkuşağı

A big question mark, really big. What in the name of God is this??. Why this place is bult??. And what is its function!!?. Well, it is quite obvious that this shopping, food area was created in order to make people pass there for some food, shopping and staff like this. Ok then, the reason after closing this place is quıte clear,, accidents, bad place, etc.
But how come the engineer company who built it and the architect who designed it, did not estimate that this place for this building is not suitable!!. After all, this place is closed and its not used any more, WHY IT IS STILL NOT REMOVED BY THE MANUCIPALITY???, as I mentioned obout Eskişehir Yolu, some doubts are put on the reasons why the rush hour is long on Eskişehir Yolu? Gökkusağı is one answer, Gökkusağı makes the street small, actually it cuts it to two halfs, Gökkusağı should be removed and its design can be used in an appropriate place.

Eskişehir Yolu

Eskişehir Yolu
what a street, in many parts of it, you can never find a safe place for walking, and also when you need to cross it you should only use the bridges for pedestrians. This street big, and its bigness does not help for a safe drive. A large number of accidents are happening on this street, and the rush hour is crazy. You can be stuck in Eskişehir Yolu for alot of time in the rush hour and the reason for the rush hours in this street is not that big, I mean its not big enough to prevent hundreds of people from going to their jobs or going back to their homes. Such reasons can be simply as, a small accident that happened some where in the street, or a woman driver who can not drive a care properly. I think that the street should have more safe places for both drivers and pedestrians.

Universal Design

The principles of Universal Design
     Equitable Use
The design does not disadvantage or stigmatize any group of users.
     Flexibility in Use
The design accommodates a wide range of individual preferences and abilities.
     Simple and Intuitive Use
Use of the design is easy to understand, regardless of the user's experience, knowledge, language skills, or current concentration level.
     Perceptible Information
The design communicates necessary information effectively to the user, regardless of ambient conditions or the user's sensory abilities.
     Tolerance for Error
The design minimizes hazards and the adverse consequences of accidental or unintended actions.
     Low Phsical Efforrt
The design can be used efficiently and comfortably, and with a minimum of fatigue.
Size and Space for Approach and Use
Appropriate size and space is provided for approach, reach, manipulation, and use, regardless of the user's body size, posture, or mobility
